Life is Great

Jason is graduated, I have 2 months left of school and our baby is growing and healthy!! Life is great!...unless you count Jason not being able to find a steady job and me being so sick of school and finding it hard to be motivated to go every day. I guess it could be worse...Jason could be gone for 6 months leaving me home with a newborn...but thats a few months down the road... :)

For now he has a job with the temp. services working at the potato factory with a couple interviews under his belt, just waiting to hear back. When Jason isn't at work he is working on getting in shape to go into the Army. I'm trudging my way through school...slowly...This past weekend I actually figured out what requirements I have left, so that got me a little more excited and motivated to just get done. I can see the light and the end of the tunnel!

We had our 20 weeks ultrasound last month and found out we are having a baby Girl!!

She was not very cooperative and therefore we didn't get very good pictures. I am going to see if they will do it again at my next appointment. We are just happy she is healthy and that we got a little peek at her! We are definitely in love with her already and can't wait til she gets here!

Go ARMY!

Ok, so its been a long time since I've posted on here and I promise to get better at posting more regularly. I will try to fill you in on the past 9 or 10 months. First of all, Jason has decided to join the Army.

Everyone asks "why?" We just feel like it is something he should do and he is actually kind of excited about it...I think ;). With the start of this next semester, Jason will start fitness training on campus with the ROTC to get ready for the PT test, which he will probably take towards the end of the semester. After graduating college in July he will join the Army as an officer. We expect him to be leaving for basic sometime in either August or September and will be there for 9 weeks. After basic Jason will then be in OCS (Officer Candidate School) until about February.
Meanwhile, I will be here in Rexburg finishing school and then working. I still go to The Hair Academy and love it, but it is definitely time to be done. But I still have about 4 months to go.
Jason and I recently moved to a new apartment down the street and around the corner. Jason wanted me by friends and closer to family while he is away for 6 months at basic. We love our new apartment! It has so much more space in the living room and kitchen!

Only half of the living room

New bigger kitchen!

We gave up a lot of storage space moving here, but somehow we've made it all fit. :)

Summer is on its way! I am so excited! When the weather gets warmer I can walk to school, start working out in the outdoors, soak up some sunshine and be warm!
